THE BRIEF

Designing and creating a business that fulfills a need in the creative sphere.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A lack of centralized resources that talk about self-care and well-being in the creative field.

THE IDEA

A self-care website for designers that highlights a variety of experiences and provides advice around self-care for creatives.

FORMAT:

EXTRA GOALS:

Blog-style Website

· Archive of design-related self-care topics

· Promoting designers work

I also developed an illustrative identity to help vary web layouts and physical assets.

LOGO

Along with the final logotype, are various lockups that break it up and make it more playful and compact.

Home

The home page is the heart of the site. It hosts a guest designer every week, along with a new topic of discussion related to being a creative.

The structure: An introduction to the designer and topic, and interview, provided resources, and promotion of the guests work.

Archive

The archive page catalogs every designer and topic every featured, so that users who are looking for a specific topic (or designer) have that advice and resources available to them.

Shop

The shop page allows for visitors to support the site by buying brand merchandise as well as support the featured designers who get a limited edition collection.

Brand Extensions

With building out the brand came the urge to create some brand extensions as I thought about the future of this product and how it could grow.

Mailers

I also thought that with the site and products sold being fairly limited edition, I could see this evolving into monthly/ annually mailed subscription boxes.
